From Design to Dress
Design Consultations
The initial meeting you will have will be to discuss your tastes and styles of fashion, enabling us to establish the first ideas for your dress. There may be following meetings after this to finalise the dress design.
Toile Fitting
A cotton version of your dress will be made in order to check the style and fit. At this stage we may decide upon decoration and further styling or simply a path of style on which to meander.
2nd & 3rd Fittings
The dress will be made in the chosen fabrics to an exact copy of the cotton toile. At this stage we can discuss the desire for any bespoke accessories designed to co-ordinate exactly with the dress (e.g. veil, tiara, hair combs, feathered hair decor etc.)
Final Check Fitting
A few weeks before your wedding day we will call you for a final fiting to make any adjustments to the fit of the dress.
The Design Pack
As an added feature, you will receive a beautifully presented memento of the process from design to dress, including any sketches, ideas, clippings etc.
